One of the things I love most about my job is the variety and diversity of it. And in the last two months I have been shooting pretty much everything; fashion in Stamford, Oakham and Peterborough, corporate & environmental portraits in Oakham, Stamford and Market Harborough, education work for a school in Oakham, properties and interiors in Rutland, two weddings (Stamford and Yorkshire), one big family shoot in Leicester and a conference in London. Oh, and also garden items for a magazine spread. This is the reason why my blog has been slightly neglected. Shooting and editing comes first and then, in the little time I have left, I try to blog, tweet and post photos on my facebook page.
This time, for the first time ever I am posting a ‘non-work’ photo which I took of my boys and one of their friends at Cubs today. Taken with my little camera (Nikon 1) that I use when I’m ‘off-duty’. I just love the way they pose on demand – I don’t even have to ask. They see me, they see the camera and they just want to get it done and over with. Hug, smile, hands up – well done boys!
